solo study date

Here I am, in the silent study section of the Montclair State University library to work on my wretched curriculum map for the day. I got here at 11:30, and I will not be leaving until 8pm. My goal is to bang out as much of this map as possible, because it's due in a week because I leave for camp for two weeks on the thirtieth!

My house is far too distracting and cluttered, and more designed for recreation, rather than productivity. I've found that libraries always help me to focus on the goal at hand, as do large chunks of time set aside for the task. I know myself, and I know that it was a good decision to come here. The heat index is 115* F! So the air conditioning here will be a nice break from the lack thereof at my house.

This upcoming fall semester will be Stephen's final semester at this school! I am so proud of him! He will be earning his bachelor's in psychology. That will be one major accomplishment closer to our wedding! I will finish my master's in may of next year, and we'll be good to go! Pretty exciting. Until then, however, putting in some legwork will be necessary to achieve our goals.
