Vine

First full day and we had to go to the next village to buy supplies.

Off we went in the overcast but not too wet weather. We found a path but it was rather steep and S's sandals made her feet wet very quickly. Nevertheless they all walked really well and by the time we got to Ollon the heavens opened and we had to wear our cagoules. Cheese and vegetables bought at the laiterie, viande at the boucherie and then a stop at the coffee shop for lunch. Rather more expensive than expected but these are our holidays so what.

The walk back in a lot of rain took us along these vines and I just love the smell emanating from the leaves as well as the smell of Switzerland in Summer despite the rain. As I type the rain has once again stopped so I will go out and enjoy the sunshine.
