Pub lunch
T has now got our new service provider working so hopefully all will run smoothly! This is yet another backblip.
The day was cold and dark but what could be nicer than meeting friends for a pub lunch! N and I drove to The Mitre at Sandford Orcas in north Dorset just near the Somerset border. It is situated in a valley surrounded by old cottages with a church and manor house nearby. The village got its name from the sandy ford across the stream in Saxon times and the Orescuilz family who came over from Normandy after the Battle of Hastings and settled in the manor house. The Hollyhocks and flowers were so pretty against the plain wall of the pub.
(There is another grasshopper on yesterday's backblip)
