Christmas & Easter in July

Our family went with my parents to see the Passion Play put on by a local area just south of us. The setting was absolutely beautiful. The kids were wondering why we would see the Christmas story and Easter story out of season. It was actually the whole story of Jesus' life. This picture is of Jesus preaching the sermon on the mount to the people. Unfortunately it started raining about 2/3's of the way into the play, so we left before we were soaked and opted to finish off the night at the local Dairy Queen - thanks Dad. We were okay with leaving early as we already knew how the story ended. Although it would have been nice to finish off the play. Maybe next year...
