Poppy seed head - new angle

I know I keep blipping poppies - apologies but I think they are gorgeous - in bloom, in bud and as seed pods. (I've tried to add lots of links but it keeps all getting muddled up so I've given it up as a bad job!) I took lots of photos tonight as the sun was shining when I got home from work - a real bonus as the forecast was for rain. It was a choice between this and a sunbathing hover fly. I chose this as I really like the lighting.

A very busy day today. I've now managed to finish all my tutoring so I've just got one morning's supply tomorrow and I've finished for the summer - yay! (Assuming the phone doesn't ring on Friday for supply that is!)
