En route

The kids and I took the train to the Gare du Midi in Brussels this afternoon and from there they got on the Eurostar to London.

It's their first time to travel abroad on their own and they were feeling a little stressed from packing, lugging suitcases up and down train platforms and reminders from me not to lose their passports or cell phones. They'll be spending time with their godmother in Norfolk and then their grandparents outside Oxford. There will be English breakfasts to enjoy, an Irish Water Spaniel puppy to play with, shopping trips, and best of all... English TV.*


No parents for almost a month - cool!
