Hair play

Today's been an exciting day. Not only did my parents come down to stay for a few days. I went to a job interview for a position as a sciences teacher at the Antwerp British School. After an hour of interview and tour of the school (at the moment completely empty of pupils and full of renovation works) the school offered me the position (eeks!).

So it probably means my summer hols will stop shortly so I can prepare myself to teach in the English system (I'll be teaching the 3 yrs at the end of which the pupils will take their GCSE's). Very, very excited! They saw no problem in me finishing off my teacher training whilst already teaching at their school. They also offered coaching and support, so I am well excited! I hope I can live up to the expectations (of the school and my own).

Oh, due to the excitement I almost forgot to take a photo today... until I saw Abbie playing with her hair in the bathroom. Thank you, Abbie!
