Not speaking to us

Poor Jess. We had a visitor this morning. As he came through the gate, Jess approached to welcome him. There was a misunderstanding, and accidentally Jess's paw was stood on. It must have been painful.

As a result, Jess would not speak to us for quite some time. She lay in various places in the garden, the garage, on the path - but she would not come up to us even for a treat. I went out to her with some cheese (a piece-offering?) and she graciously accepted it. But she was not going to come up to me and beg for it.

As I blip this, quite a number of hours after the incident, I think we have been forgiven.
