Dreams, just Dreams.

I have been meaning to Blip this for some time, but only got the chance today. This boat is in the garden of a house , in a village not far from us. It has been there for at least 18 years to our knowledge. According to a friend who grew up around here, it has been there for more than 25 years!
The story goes that the boat was bought so the Husband could finish it and the couple could sail it down the Rhine to the North Sea, where it would be Moored for them to spend their Holidays on. However before much work was completed the husband got a job in America, Canada, or South Africa, (depends on who is telling the story !!). Off he goes to earn lots of money and after a short time all contact is lost and he has dissappeared!
Wife is convinced he has lost his memory, and he will one day return, many people have offered to buy the boat( The mast and rigging,including a lead keel, together with materials for completion are in the Building behind her, ) but she refuses to sell , saying her husband would be annoyed if she sold it. Every year she has it cleaned off with a pressure hose, ready for him. Such a sad lady, wonder what will happen to it when she goes?
