Shadow Portrait

It's been so hot here that this morning I got up early (before 7:00) to take Poppy on her walk. It's a nice time of day, very quiet and with the sun just coming above the trees, it's not too hot yet. The low angle of the sun also makes for some very elongated shadows. This photo was taken while Poppy and I were sitting on a stone bench in Bryan Park. The bench is located on a gently sloping hill and our long shadows stretching down the hillside made kind of a nice triangular composition.
