Field Horsetails

Quick blip today on early morning dog walk, before a frantic day. Almost done now so heading for a bath and bed.

These plants are field horsetails, which not surprisingly grow in a damp corner of the large arable field that abutts my cottage. They often catch the early morning sun, of which there was a tiny window.

Torrential rain this evening.
