Keeping an eye on me!

After 30 years of debate as to whether or not the pressure behind my eye was to be treated, the day has finally come. I've been referred by Opticians, seen by Specialists, attended Hospitals, where, after months , they've decided that I was wasting their time and they were wasting mine etc etc. However, last September at my normal Eye Test the Optician decided to refer me once again - this time to have the cornea measured. This was duly done this morning at the local Hospital and proved to be thicker than the norm. But - the Doctor wasn't happy with that being the cause of the high pressure and proceeded during the next two hours to try and make the pressure go down. It didn't!
So, I have to have these drops each day now and he's very optimistic that when I see him in 4 months time, the pressure will be normal. Here's hoping!
