Oodles of Doodles

I started this doodle today and couldn't stop until I had filled the page!

It got me thinking about doodles and what they all mean.
Google to the rescue.

'Doodles are like fragments of a map that shows how someone's mind works'.

I started at the bottom left of the page and worked across then up, which means it was more of a subconscious doodle rather than a logical one.

'People who prefer straight lines tend to have strong willpower and self-control and like facts. Drawing lines or objects in rows shows good organisation, a methodical approach and a liking for order and control'.

Drawing with black is associated with facts, discipline and what is serious or gloomy.
Drawing an intricate maze suggests that you feel that you're in a tight spot. Alternatively, it could be a sign of the need for protection from a threatening element in your life.

From previous experiences and actions I know that I use my left side of the brain more and I read that left brain thinkers tend to doodle geometrical shapes and lines.

Interesting facts. Some I agree it is me, others not so.

I also found out that National Doodle Day is 2nd March 2012 !
