Aspiring to be better

Vancouver Day 6

Yesterday the sun finally came out, eventually. And as I type this at 6:30 the following day sitting on the balcony it's out again.

Yesterday we were taken to the Lynn Canyon Park and suspension bridge. A great walk through the woods (forest) along the side of the river. The sun hadn' quite decided to show itself but it was warm and dry.

This was followed by a trip up Grouse Mountain a must for any visitor to Vancouver. Not only the words of the tour guides but mine as well. When we got to the top the weather was still misbehaving but the low cloud and mist added to the experience. Indeed sitting watching the lumberjack show with the mist creeping in as the jousted on the log rolls was a great experience.

And then, without herald, the mist rose and the sun appeared. The trip down on the gondola in brilliant sunshine revealed all of the city in a way we hadn't seen before. A perfect way to see the whole city for the first time.
