I've done quite a bit of studying over the years. I should be able to do it efficiently and effectively by now. You would think.

But no. For weeks I have been faffing about* over an assignment for a course I'm currently engaged in because I didn't really know what was expected. I sent off a draft to my fabulous tutor last week and have received some encouraging and very helpful feedback, which means I have a really good idea of what I need to do to make the piece of work as good as I can.

So I spent the vast proportion of the afternoon studyin...ok, no, I didn't. I spent it faffing about.

I'm truly quite fed up with myself.
