A beautiful young wood pigeon

There are lots of wood pigeons sharing our garden with us. I love to wake to the cooing noises they make in the morning - especially when the sun is shining - sadly a bit less frequent than we would like this summer!

I took a walk around the garden to see what was new. I took a few more pictures.

I spent about 20 minutes watching the birds on the feeders with my camera in my hand and got a few good shots I think - take a look :-)
