Monday: Roamin' Around

I had a few errands to run today which, as far as the crow flies, were not that far apart from each other, but try getting from one place to another on public transport!  All I had to was drop off a visa application for the US, and go to the dentist, but to do that I had to take train-underground-walk-underground-change-more underground-change-more underground-train-more train.......

So it makes absolute sense to share Earl's Court Underground station with you (even though this particular bit is overground....).  I always like this platform, it feels wonderfully dated.  

We are away for the next few days, first in Yorkshire, then in Liverpool.  I'd like to say that we are taking a road-trip, American stylee, but our roads are so pathetic here, it is more like a little-lane-pootle.  

But, big progress for me, I have bought one of them dongly things and am going to try blipping in real time while I am away.  Let's see how that goes!
