Portrait of a waxeye

No time today, lunch for 6, then Nature Photography Club, and supper which I'm responsible for, so a very quick blip expedition - out the back door. Fortunately the sun was out and the birds were about, so a few quick shots and back in and on with lunch!

The birds are getting very used to us being about, and while they sometime take off with a flurry of feathers, it's only to the magnolia and cherry trees and they are back very quickly.
