Lips
The skin on your lips is extremely thin, about 3-5 layers compared to the face with 16. There are no pigment cells to give colour. Instead the blood vessels appear through the skin of your lips, to give their red colouring. There are nerve endings a plenty giving your lips a heightened sensitivity to touch, warmth, and cold. Like fingerprints, no two lip impressions are precisely alike.
Our lips help us to articulate when we speak, are used when we eat and help us to express emotion.
All the nerve endings packed into your lips make for a truly amazing erogenous zone. Put simply lips were made for kissing.
(I feel an anatomical theme coming on....maybe.)
