WET WINDSOR

SATURDAY

Becky, Mike and me had planned to go to Hove for the day but on hearing the weather forecast of rain, rain and more rain we decided to go to Windsor instead as we figured there would be more " indoorsy " things available.

Windsor was wet I can tell you. We spent our time dodging the rain and popping into shops and indoor areas. Becky went to a sports shop and had her running gait analysed. She had to run on a treadmill and they videoed it so they could see her running style in order to recommend which pair of running shoes would suit her best. She is training for a half marathon in September and a full marathon in April so she wanted to get the correct shoes.

We also went to a hotel tea room and had warm raisin scones with strawberry jam and clotted cream and a cup of tea. Very nice.

In the evening we went to La Trompette - a Michelin star restaurant in Chiswick. The food was delicious.

So Saturday was a very enjoyable day.
