Sunday

Another day of rehearsals today, which was quite nice. We spent a lot of time playing pieces that didn't have any parts for us flutes. So we went upstairs, and had a bit of fun with some quartetty music of mine. Actually has started to sound quite good, I think we're going to ask our conductor if we can play at all when we go away.

I'm not sure if i've mentioned yet or not, but i'm away next saturday to Prague for a week. That's what the rehearsals have been for this weekend. I'm going away with the West Sussex County Youth Orchestra, and we're leaving saturday lunchtime, then driving all the way to the Czech republic. 24 hours on a coach, i'm going to die. There may be a possibility of blipping, but if not you can expect back blips when I get home.

Anyways enough about that. It was a fairly ordinary day other than that, spent a lot of time laughing and having fun and it was good, but now i'm pretty tired. Had a nap when I got home again and can safely say It shant be long before I go to sleep yet again.

I had another go at training the chickens tonight, it's getting better. Nothing too tricky yet, just responding to certain noises and hand movements. Trying to teach them to pose and stay still for photos, but it's going to take a while. Eventually I should be able to get them to jump through hoops :) This is my beautiful Miranda, who I actually managed to get to sit still for at least 3 seconds !
