Return to Haddo

It's been a while since we've been to Haddo - twenty weeks to be precise.

We had an enjoyably sunny stroll round there today. (A nice surprise to see so much sun after a rainy day yesterday, more rain in the night and quite a lot of cloud around this morning.)

This is a view of the (sunlit!) face of the house looking over the formal garden. (We were much amused to read a display board informing visitors that the formal garden is about to be restored to a 'Gardenesque' design...)
