Trendy TED stockings and poetry...

Equals.... Supreme boredom!!!! Lol!!!

Had no intention of blipping.... Reception in yesterday's ward would not have let me anyway!! But I've been moved wards, and apart from the 2 hour horror bout of pain earlier today, am largely bored rigid!!!!!! Was going to get out today, and be followed up as an out patient... But hey Ho.... Not a chance!! Blood results mental, and I'm starting to expect to turn yellow with jaundice real soon, if this keeps up!!! Sigh!!!

Wrote a poem to fill in some time!!! And my fellows patients have been a lovely bunch!! :-))


A poem on.......
Big serious career reflection!!!!!! Lol!!


My present stay in hospital,
Has made me question why,
I nurse folk as a living,
When there's other jobs to try!

It sure as hell ain't fashion...
either uniforms or gowns,
There's no Gucci here, or even Next!
And the TEDs are more like clowns!!!

But the staff are all so lovely,
They really seem to care,
It's made my stay more bearable,
Especially when I'm 'sair'!!! (Sore!!)

I suppose that's why I do it..
Nurse folk every day.
We want to make a difference
And will try to find a way!

It's helped to be a patient,
Though I'd rather be the nurse!
I see that smiles are crucial,
And hard faces are a curse!!

So this hasn't been all bad,
Although I'll skip a second run.
I'll be back to do the job real soon
And be glad it's such good fun!!
