Hey, Wait for meeeee.......

My little legs are too short!
This wee cygnet was trying to keep up but those little legs got so tired so quickly. In fairness, mum/dad always stopped and waited until the bairn was up and moving again.
As all the other cygnets are well up and starting to lose their downy-ness, I suspect that this character is from a second brood. I hope it grows up quick before the autumn sets in.
This was taken on the campus at Stirling University, just beside Airthrey Loch, where we went for a quick run round between showers.
