Richmond Park deer

Today we made our way to Barnes, where my cousin-in-law took my oldest son and I cycling. It rained. It pretty much rained torrentially all nine miles along the Thames to Teddington Lock, where we had a pub lunch in The Anglers.

After a very much needed rest, coffee and food we set off again to cycle back through Richmond Park. The rain stopped, it warmed slightly and the sun came out. We took a detour passed the Star and Garter (no we didn't go in) to look at a view across the Thames and London. Then continued through the park to Barnes, in all nearly 16 miles.

Back in the centre of London we visited Forbidden Planet for book buying, then coffee at Nude Espresso in Soho Square, then a rest before dinner and Harry Potter at Tottengham Court Road Odeon. Now we are in need of a good sleep.
