Traffic on the Clyde

Have popped over for 18 hours to pick up the parentals and take them back over to mine in the Borders. I left a horrendous amount of rain behind to find "the best is in the west" - again!

Change of river traffic since my last visit 4 weeks ago. Cal Mac no longer run their car ferry between Gourock and Dunoon and instead there is a cute wee passenger only ferry that tootles back and forth. In line - a yacht, Western Ferries and the new cute guy!

My parents won't be back here til 11th August - and by then dad will be 90!! Amazing!!

I'm trying to arrange a cousins get together for the weekend before his birthday - hope they can come! Dad is the last survivor of 5 and has all of my cousins and their children (and grandchildren) to keep up with!

Am also hoping my mum's nephews and their families can join us that weekend too -but a different day - bit overwhelming altogether!!

Am getting quite excited. Should've been a party planner!
