Spring Storms Continue
I am out on the mud flats of the Turnagain Arm of the Cook Inlet.
crunch... crunch... crunch... crunch... crunch... crunch...
It's pretty cold out here.
crunch... crunch... crunch... crunch... crunch... crunch... crunch...
I have to get closer to the inlet.
crunch... crunch... crunch... crunch... crunch... crunch... crunch... crunch...
I'm pretty far out here now.
crunch... crunch... crunch... crunch... crunch...
I can't hear the road traffic anymore. I can't see the car.
crunch... crunch... crunch...
This mud is pretty soft here. I wonder how deep it is?
smush... smush... crunch... crunch...
What if there was a rogue bore tide...
crunch... crunch...
that swept me away...
crunch...
into the inlet... the deep cold inlet... down into the cold water... to be eaten by a halibut... in the cold dark water...
OK, this is far enough.
click!
OK, I better get back now!
crunch. crunch. crunch. crunch. crunch. crunch. crunch. crunch. crunch. crunch. crunch. crunch. crunch. crunch. crunch. crunch. crunch. crunch. crunch. crunch. crunch. crunch. crunch. crunch... smush... smush...crunch. crunch. crunch. crunch. crunch. crunch. crunch. crunch. crunch. crunch. crunch. crunch.
phew!
