After everyone left

Thank you to all who responded to my query yesterday on whether to go ahead with the evening or to call it off. It was unanimous - so ahead I went.

It was the right choice and was a great success, watching the bonfire from indoors! Here is the weeping maple at the front, which I noticed looked rather pretty in the light as the last lot left very early this morning.

Father-in-law Dick up for the evening and Alex down from Newcastle especially to see him. Lovely to have everyone together.

Now if I can just talk them into a game of Pictionary. . .
