I finally took the new camera out and play with all it's new / mind melting dials and buttons! Having spent much of the morning trying to figure out the new controls and settings I finally asked my Dad, a former wedding photographer, what I should do. I received this advice which is my quote of the day

Just stick it on auto lad, it'll do most things for for

Brilliant, just what I was hoping for!

I decided to go into Birmingham and try it out ignoring my Dad's advice, much to my dismay auto was the best thing to use.

Cheers Dave- I tried the rule of thirds, not sure I got it entirely right but working on it!
