Google given up...
I have a question that I have not been able to Google. I pride myself in finding answers in 3 words but I just can't find the answer at all. If anyone can enlighten me, I'd love to know.
The first recorded digital photograph was produced in 1975, was 0.01 megapixels and took 23 seconds to capture the image. The second Voyager spacecraft was launched in September 1977, little more than 2 years later and is flying through space at an incredible rate of knots.
How are these high resolution photographs getting sent back to earth and how does Voyagers imaging and transmitting of them work?
Anybody?
