trainee gundog

This is John, one of the Gifford Gentlemen footballers. He brought along Toby, a trainee gundog tonight - John's a gamekeeper.

What a wee star (the dog, not John - obviously).

Hard going at the football tonight, what with the rock hard pitch, the midgies and the general lack of skill on show. The three scouts in attendance probably left dissatisfied. I recognised the chaps from Milan and Barcelona, but the third was a stranger. Imagine my excitement when I discovered he was from Tranent Juniors...
