Babymoon
Simon and I felt the need to have a final bit of peace and luxury before the crying / puke / poop machine arrives. So we decided to have a nice weekend at the Four Seasons in Whistler.
Whistler was a slightly strange choice of location given than we have lived and worked here for nearly three years. But we don't live in the fancy, dancy Four Seasons. And I don't usually get pedicures and sit around the pool drinking mocktails and eating melon (while Si had fun in the bike park). What a wonderful weekend we choose. The sun was out, a little swimming in the pool, free concerts in the village, an entire book read and delicious food added to my bulging belly.
Maybe it was unnecessary, probably we should have put the money towards boring baby things like monitors and thermometers, but that's not how we role (and we just had to use a gift voucher from our mates in Scotland that has been sitting unused for nearly three years). I returned home on Sunday night feeling very relaxed and ready to take on the next few months. Thanks guys x
