Cactus flower

Yes I know I don't like doing pretty flowers/kittens/babies, but this one comes with lethal spikes attached so it's butch. On my favourite Little Island for annual holiday with #2 daughter and #2 son, both needing to chill out after a hectic year of uni; the socialising as much as the studying. Not able to move about much so this is one of my plants on the terrace - it's not flowered before and the bloom only lasts for a day, so it deserves its moment in blipland after welcoming us like this.
