Believer

I had a really awesome conversation about nature vs nurture and the natural goodness/evil of humanity with my best friend Susan last night. I had basically given up on people and decided that everyone was out for nothing else but their own selfish needs. Talking to her made me believe that there is more good than bad out there, and that most people will choose the right over the wrong.

It made me happy.
It made me want to believe that there is goodness in the world.

Today has been a dreary rainy day. I love rain just as much as the next person but I like warm rain, not rain accompanied with 32F temperatures and cold winds. I am ready for summer.

Splash Safety at the Y has been going pretty well. I have the little preschoolers (all of my kids are under the age of 7) and they are getting more and more use to the water everyday. It's funny because I can get them to jump in and float on their backs and swim, but I can't get them to hold onto the side of the pool and put their heads all the way under the water. Oh well. Better some progress than none :)
