On my way home

Finished work at 5, quick change then off to Newcastle to see what bargains are left in the sale. Not much! I did purchase a nice top for the christening though:-)

When I was almost home I had to stop at traffic lights & managed to take a quick blip of Hartford Hall out of my car window, think the people behind me were wondering what I was up to! I used to work here about 20 years ago when it was a miners rehabilitation centre & feed red squirrels on a bird table outside my office! It was also used by film companies & part of Catherine Cooksons Black Candle was filmed there. Bringing back lots of memories! Now it has been 'developed' & is executive housing.

Its not a particularly good photo but was the best I could manage under the time restraints of the traffic lights!
