Wolvesey Castle

Had planned to go to the Winchester museum today, but our curiosity about the cloisters at the side of the cathedral took us another route. Ended up at the castle (that we didn't know existed) which was lovely and we then walked round the walls, along the water meadow and ended up at the park next to the abbey. The boys love the park and made some friends. We like it as we can sit just about anywhere and see them, giving them some freedom.

It's funny how a plan can change and your day can turn out to be great. The museum will be there tomorrow. Happy days.
