Not sharpening pencils, sharpening minds

Today was the second day of Mzuzu Teachers Inservice course, delivered by a group of Irish teachers who are volunteering their time for a month of their Summer holidays. The course has been organised in co-operation with Anna Sichinga, District Education Manager, Mzuzu area. A group of 50 teachers are attending and today they were joined by about 100 students for demonstration of methodologies and learning strategies that can be used in the classrooms.
We are delighted to report that all is going very well also agree that the pupils were amazing as were the teachers.
This course will be repeated for the next three weeks in three other venues.
