Flowers of the field

Another beautiful day today, and another trip south, this time to Blackwaterfoot via the King's Cave, where Robert the Bruce supposedly hid out. A beautiful walk round the forestry and along the shore, then through the golf course at Blackwaterfoot - which is bordered by a variety of fields, including the one where this was taken. Still having fun with the camera! This was shot in colour, but I was fiddling with the Canon software which came with the camera, and rather liked the monochrome.

EDIT: Just noticed last year's shot. Hmm, why is July 14th a black and white day?
