Cootamundra Wattle

Acacia baileyana, the variety with the purplish leaves. My thanks to pennultimate for identifying this wattle after I got it wrong.

It's too early here for wattle flowers, but this little tree that I planted as a contrast to the normal silver-leaved wattles is sheltered under the big trees. It looked so pretty in the dappled sunlight.
