reflected fractals

It has been an automotive day/week:

Aside from work we had to leave the Honda at the shop to have a new VTECH solenoid installed (Error code p2467 valve actuator stuck on A-Bank 1). Earlier this week the Subaru returned from the shop after it shredded all it's serpentine belts and destroyed the harmonic balancer and chrankshaft pulley. Then today after picking up the Honda I stopped at a local auto "dealer" to check out a VOLVO XC 70 with high mileage (155K) . The price was right and it didn't smell of cigarette smoke, but the transmission was missing a wee bit of fluid, not a good omen, so I passed that one by.....

It dumped rain from a few small thunderstorms, but after the showers it was crystal clear and sunny at the lake. Looks like almost a full moon out tonight too...
