"I'm the moon"

Is it just me, or are other people fascinated by the moon?

I saw a shooting star tonight (when I was coming out of Asda after doing late night shopping) - was soooooooooooo excited. Then I realised how clear the sky was and how fab the moon looked - so home I went and out came camera!

Its grainy because the camera was set on high ISO setting - but I'm pleased that I managed to get the crescent and the bit that wasn't really that visible to the naked eye.

Anybody any tips on getting good moon shots?

Much better day today - I was efficient and achieved loads and the kids were on good form which helps!
