Work was ok today. I kept myself busy all day and learnt some new things. It's surprising how quickly time goes when you are busy. My day went wrong when I got home. My mums car broke down last week and having worked out what was wrong I have been waiting for a part. It arrived today and I thought I'd pop down and fit it. I thought i might be done in half an hour. How wrong was I! After over two hours I gave up. The part fitted and after scraping my arms and knuckles refitting hoses and putting it all back together I filled it up with water and, yes you've guessed it, I had a leak. Not good. After messing for a while and over tightening things I had to give up and come home. My diagnosis of the fault was correct, it's just that when put together again the seal is not what it should be. Hopefully I can still fix it with a new seal but that will now have to wait for another day.
