A year on

A year ago I got my camera - a Nikon D3000 - for my birthday. After the last year I've added a Sigma 70-300mm lens and today a Nikkor 50mm 1.8D lens. I've also had a wonderful learning experience from Blipfoto since March this year after being pointed in this direction by Paul Johnston at Coppermango

Got my new lens today and have started experimenting. Getting used to the manual focus will take a bit of time but the sharpness of the images is immediately apparent. Thanks to many of my subscribers/subscriptions for pointing me in this direction, not least (but not exclusively) JG Photography and visualbinam
