Right hold off folks, don't call childline - he was happily mesmerised by the light on the wooden floor, until I got my camera out that is. Cue leg kicking and lip pouting and cries of "No Camera! Camera away!". "But Mummy likes the light too!" I replied. 4 super-quick snaps in succession and I put the camera away for the rest of the day. We had a whole day of Mummy and Boo time. Swimming, visiting cousins, 2 year check with health visitor (went very well, with some interesting and refreshingly uplifting conversation about the attachment-style of parenting that hubs and I have found naturally suits us as a family), grocery shopping and back to Nana and Bampa's house for tea. Then, I uploaded this photo which I had imagined was a nice summery-morning-light shot, but was disappointed to find that it looks to me like an image of neglect and despair! Given my thorough exhaustion, I'm not taking any more photos, but in light of today's gleaming report with the health visitor it somehow tickles me in an ironic way that this is the image to remember the day by.
