A splashy adventure!

Today we went into town to do some shopping. Usually we head straight through Piccadilly gardens to the shops but today a bunch of little people playing in the fountains caught Kai's eye and he loudly insisted on joining in. A quick check that I had extra clothes in the bag and I reluctantly let him loose. The result proved to be 40 minutes of entertainment for myself and all the other parents sitting around the fountains as Kai literally dived straight in. He was in his element and got absolutely soaked. I mean, he couldn't have been any wetter! But he also absolutely loved it!

After 40 minutes I was worried he'd get too cold, so I bundled him onto my coat and headed to the nearest coffee shop to dry off and get warm.
