Aberdeen harbour is always a hive of activity. This man was busier than he looks here.
I was on my way back to Orkney and, just a few minutes after taking this shot, was delighted to see four or five dolphins just beyond the old lighthouse. They were too quick for me to photograph, though.

I thought them porpoises at first but then one jumped clear of the water and I could see the markings, and I've never seen porpoises jump clear, so I think they were common dolphin. I saw another at sea later.
