We had a Douglas Fir taken down today. It was a small tree but it was really growing fast and it needed to come out of there. Technically this is on the land behind our house, but we had permission to take out this tree. The big tree, which you can't see in this image, next to it...no. However, if the owners showed up one day and said, we are taking out these big trees, I would be very happy. They are great, but sometimes it's not too much fun to live right underneath as they drop a lot of pitch/sap in the hot days.

These guys were great by the way. Took that tree down, cleaned it all up, stacked the wood where we asked, and poof, they were gone. Easy peasy.
