The serpent

Our last morning in New York and we went for a bit of a wander around the financial district. Decided to pop into Trinity Church, the first Anglican church in New York (though not the physical one that stands there now...that is the third following a number of fires.

In the graveyard stands a calvary - quite unusual outside of Brittany. As well as a bunch of saints, there's this rather wonderful depiction of Adam & Eve.

Our plane flies out tonight and we're back in England tomorrow. I can't say I'll miss the heat!
