New location in the buildings series. This one is thriving! It's known as 'The Calabash Creamery.' An ice cream shop in a tourist town in the summer is like giving free samples at a bank - the people will come.

The creamery was conceived and built several years ago to be what it is - a place where you can get your favorite flavor in a cup, a cone, a dish, or in a shake. The ice cream is made fresh daily on the premises. It's open year 'round but, obviously, the bulk of their business is during the summer season.

This area could be called 'calorie corner' as the 'Cupcake Shop' is just behind this building. Talk about a sugar fix.
