Polesden Lacey

After spending time in the city, today it was time for some quintessential English country side. We visited Polesden Lacey, a National Trust estate and had a good long walk in the hills, valley and forrest. After the walk we had a nice cooked lunch at the Trust's restaurant, finishing off with apple crumble and custard.

After the (late) lunch we drove back to Folkstone to catch a train at Eurotunnel to get us back to the Continent. We came home just after 8 pm (Belgian time), very smooth journey!
